Educational AssistanceVeterans of recent military service, and the dependents of certain other service members, may be entitled to educational assistance payments from the Veterans Administration. Reservists and members of the National Guard may also be eligible for monthly educational benefits. Cape Cod Community College is an approved institution for veterans and veterans' beneficiaries training. Military Leave (Active Duty)Federal law and regulations protect active duty, guard and reserve military personnel who are called up to active duty for deployment during the term in which they are enrolled at a post-secondary education institution. According to these regulations, student whose education was interrupted by voluntary or involuntary military service has the right to readmission. These regulations also apply to students who receive orders to Permanent Change of Station (PCS) and students who enlist in a regular component of the armed forces.
