Yoga is a process for learning about ourselves and opening to our fullest potential. It helps us to expand our awareness and transform our lives in ways that make us happier, healthier and feeling more whole within ourselves and in our relationships with others in the world. Embracing these basic values is the starting point for becoming a good yoga teacher.

Participants in the teacher training program invariably experience a deep and lasting sense of personal transformation as all of the elements of yoga become clearer and better integrated as you explore every aspect of yoga in your personal practice. In contrast to teacher training programs that emphasize attainment, competition or mastery, in this program we look to explore, refine, deepen, expand and learn without end. The primary source of this transformative learning is one's personal practice, and it is in the practice of yoga that we gain the most insight into how best to share the practice with others. Because yoga is a process for self-transformation, there is nothing to master, no end to what we can learn and no limit to how much we can grow and share.

The training is led by Michelle Itzkowitz E-RYT 500, owner of innerglow yoga in Mashpee & Osterville, and owner and Director of Cape Cod Yoga School. Yoga and meditation has been a part of Michelle’s life for over 15 years, and has been the saving grace through more than one challenging life experience. She uses this knowledge and growth to inspire her students to keep pushing forward and to believe in the strength and beauty of every breath, and every moment of every day. Yoga inspires her to live each moment more mindfully and to cultivate happiness and joy with whomever she meets. Michelle is certified through many schools, including Yoga For Life, a Kripalu inspired program, Fluid Yoga with Kevan Gale and is also a student of Mark Stephens, one of Northern California’s most influential teachers. She lives life as a student first and is so deeply grateful for the loving wisdom her teachers have shared with her. Through the teacher training program, Michelle hopes to inspire and educate those on the path of yoga to live their most authentic life and to share that with others. This program is a Yoga Alliance approve 200 hour teacher training.

This session prepares attendees to hone their personal negotiating style and skills, as well as identify and defend against the negotiating techniques that may be used against them by suppliers, customers and co-workers.

Economics drives the supply chain. This session examines the principles of macroeconomics and microeconomics by focusing on how to manage effectively in the global context of suppliers, customers, and competitors. The principles of cost, strategy, and organizational analysis are discussed, focusing on how managers evaluate both the internal structure and incentives within a firm, as well as the competitive forces external to the firm. Key concepts studied in this session include a review of basic economic terms, identification of business drivers in the supply chain, an examination of total cost of ownership criteria, a review of fiscal and monetary policy, and the importance of cost and value analysis in managing the end-to-end supply chain. Special consideration will be given to creating a strategy to deal with current economic conditions impacting all of our organizations.
