The Cotton Center for Real Estate Studies, established with a generous contribution of Jack and Ann Marie Cotton, is dedicated to the education and continued professional development of real estate professionals and the mentoring of those new to and seeking to enter the profession.

The Center focuses energy and activity on advancing the field and affiliated elements while empowering individuals to attain home ownership. It encompasses all of the real estate courses currently offered by the managing department, The Center for Corporate and Professional Education at Cape Cod Community College, and will develop new curriculum in such areas as real estate licensing, appraising, sales and marketing, investment analysis, finance, property development and management, and related topics and issues.

40 Hour Real Estate Pre-License Courses

MA requires 40 hours of pre-license training prior to the real estate salesperson exam. This course will prepare students for the license exam. It is approved by the MA Board of Registration for fulfilling its licensing requirements.

Who should attend: Renters, Landlords, Real Estate Licensees and all who have an interest in learning about Massachusetts Rental Laws and Responsibilities of Tenants and Landlords.

A large volume of complaints at the Division of Massachusetts Department of Consumer Affairs deal with residential rental transactions and understanding legal obligations with public accommodations.

Massachusetts Real Estate Licensees will earn 2 CEU Credits after completion.
