Rethink Retirement is a 2-day retirement course geared towards getting today’s retiree to and through retirement. The course is designed to explore the basics of a retirement foundation. Learn strategies to consider when planning for retirement now versus previous generations.

With the landscape of retirement changing, it is important to understand your options in order to find appropriate solutions tailored to help better prepare you for the retirement you’ve always dreamed of. There are new considerations of retirement that are changing how we plan to live our wonder years including living longer, recommended withdrawal rates, and lowered yields and rates on top of the ever-changing volatility of the financial markets.

This course will cover the ins and outs of a retirement foundation including:

  • Financial phases in a lifetime
  • Determining and budgeting for your income needs
  • Retirement income options and ways to maximize them
  • Strategies for dealing with longevity risk
  • Potential impact of income taxes and inflation on purchasing power
  • The basics and importance of having an estate planning strategy
