Community members, students, teachers, and parents can register and gain free access to five movies dedicated to science, technology, engineering, and math:
- Picture a Scientist

- Do You Trust This Computer?
- Human Nature
- Sonic Sea
Each film is available entirely online and those who register will have access to all five.
“Each of these acclaimed films explores a current issue around ethics and equity in STEM,” said Bridget Burger, Director of the Cape Cod Regional STEM Network. “We are excited to sponsor this festival and offer FREE admission for everyone who is interested-- as part of Massachusetts STEM Week. “Watch one film, several, or watch them all. Help us spread the word about the 4Cs STEM Film Fest.”
Registration is open now and is free for all. To sign up, go to https://tinyurl.com/4CsSTEMFilmFest.
"Films like ‘Picture a Scientist’ are important because they help to raise awareness of the very real biases that exist in science," said Dr. Julie Huber, WHOI Associate Scientist in Marine Chemistry and Geochemistry. "After watching the film, I was reminded of the women who blazed a trail for me and why we need to continue to foster a culture of inclusion in our pursuit of scientific excellence and create pathways of opportunity to recruit, retain, and mentor a diverse STEM community. I encourage people to watch this eye-opening film."
