Commonwealth Honors Program

The Honors Program provides students and faculty with opportunities to enrich their learning experiences at Cape Cod Community College. We offer courses, advisement, scholarships, and support dedicated to the academic success of Honors students. Highly motivated students can pursue independent research, collaborate with faculty and fellow Honors students, develop critical thinking skills, and prepare for advancement to Commonwealth Honors Programs.

Important Honors Program Dates for Fall 2021

  • Honors Contract proposals due: Thursday, September 23 by 5:00pm (Submit signed copies to Professor Martin or Cindy Pavlos)
  • Honors Abstracts due: Thursday, October 21 (submit by e-mail to
  • Honors Reception posters due: Wednesday, November 17
  • Honors Program reception: Wednesday, November 24

Other Opportunities to Participate

  • Honors Center, Top Floor Tilden Arts Center: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm and by appointment. The Honors Center is a place for Honors scholars to study and to interact with other Honors students.
  • The Honors Club, which is open to all students, meets on Tuesdays at 5:30pm in the Lorusso building (Tech 101) and via Zoom, using code 946 2434 0385.
