Artist Statement: I am an interdisciplinary artist working in many mediums. I am using the power of the camera to record the details and beauty of what is in the marsh. The photographic series images I titled pools, mighty plenitude shares the same inspiration as many of my other projects in that they are both motivated by a desire to be observant, still and connect with something of the divine in the corporal. Much of my work is produced from observations in the marshes and at the shores of the Atlantic Ocean, on the sandy peninsula of Cape Cod.
Through the pools, mighty plenitude project, I am photographing the same watery forms over multiple years in different seasons, weather conditions, times of day, and times of tidal flow, it is a meditative.
