Sometimes Cloudy, Sometimes Clear: Contemporary Landscape Paintings

This exhibition showcases the work of thirteen regional artists, that combines the historical tradition of Cape landscape painting with contemporary points of view. The works range from painterly expressionism, atmospheric dreamscapes to a more abstract minimalism.

Nathalie Ferrier, Artist-in-Residence, reuses objects and materials from everyday life like containers, bottle caps, wood, branches, fibers and threads that intertwine with elements from nature like dry leaves, foliage, and tree roots.
Student Art Exhibit

An exhibition of student work from the current semester encompassing painting, drawing, sculpture, printmaking, mosaics, illustration, digital imaging and life drawings.

This exhibit features the work of six contemporary sculptors who use wood as the structural basis for their work. The individual artists employ a variety of materials and techniques—ranging from scavenged/reclaimed wood, pine, cabinet grade birch panels, found objects, construction materials, chainsaws, fine joinery and whittling.
Economy of Nature: Sculpture in Wood, Paintings, Works on Paper

Artist-in-residence Susan Lyman is a contemporary artist with strong ties to Cape Cod. With a distinct affinity for wood and trees in particular. Her exhibition includes older and newer sculpture, works in progress, paintings and works on paper. She is known for her impeccable craftsmanship, intelligent content and unique perspective.
