The Aviation Maintenance Technology program will prepare you for FAA Certification, and lay the foundation for an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Aviation Maintenance, and transfer into a variety of four-year programs.

Aviation Maintenance Technology Information Sessions are strongly recommended for all applicants to the this program. The Director of Admissions and the Program Coordinator will share up-to-date information about the program and answer questions about the curriculum and the admissions process.

This unique airplane maintenance training program meets a critical need for highly skilled technicians in airframe and power plant repair and certification.
National, regional, and local airlines including Jet Blue, Cape Air, and the U.S. Coast Guard are providing strong support, and are waiting for graduates to start filling critical needs in numerous sectors of the aviation industry where major shortages of highly skilled technicians exist now, and are expected to continue for many years to come.
This program is one of the few training centers on the Eastern Seaboard supporting the airline industry and only the second in Massachusetts offering certification in both Airframe Structures and Power Plant Theory and Maintenance. This program creates a pathway for a career with significant advancement potential.

Aviation Maintenance Technology Certificates
The Aviation Maintenance Technology program provides you with knowledge and skills necessary for a career working on aviation systems and aircraft throughout the United States. Highly qualified instructors help prepare students for the FAA airframe and powerplant exam leading to certification in General Airframe and Powerplant maintenance. Instruction includes both theory and hands-on practical projects.
Aviation Maintenance Technology Degree Program
The Associate of Applied Science (AAS) Degree in Aviation Maintenance builds on the General Airframe and Powerplant maintenance certification program or the experience of practicing aircraft technicians. Students combine certification courses with general academic credit courses to earn their AAS Degree.
