Admissions: Diagnostic Technician Program
The Diagnostic Technician Certificate (DTC) program is designed to prepare students to function in a variety of settings assisting with diagnostic testing including phlebotomy and EKG. Additional coursework within the certificate provides students with the vocabulary and communication skills necessary to work with the public in a healthcare setting.
Admissions applications for the Diagnostic Technician Certificate program are accepted for the fall and spring semesters.
Diagnostic Technician Information Sessions
Attendance at an information session is required for all applicants to the DTC program. The DTC program coordinator will share up-to-date information and answer questions regarding the curriculum, clinical assignments, support services, and course requirements.
A student can enroll in the Diagnostic Technician Certificate program after completion of the following:*
- Admissions Application form
- Official final high school transcript or GED/HiSET test score results
- Official, original college and/or university transcripts from all previous institutions ever attended, if applicable.
