At Cape Cod Community College, it is our privilege to assist veterans in taking advantage of the numerous educational opportunities available through the GI Bill and other programs. Regardless of whether you are a new student, a returning student or transferring to our campus from another institution, we are here to help you find the resources you need to make the most out of your time at CCCC.

CCCC Veterans Center

CCCC Veterans CenterCape Cod Community College Military and Veteran Students are encouraged to take advantage of the newly renovated CCCC Veterans Center. Located on the second floor of the Wilkins Library, The Veterans Center offers a relaxing environment for veterans to study, network, or grab a cup of coffee in between classes. Weekly meetings of the Cape Cod Community College Veterans Association, a student veteran-run organization, are held in the Veterans Center as well.

Educational Assistance

Veterans of recent military service, and the dependents of certain other service members, may be entitled to educational assistance payments from the Veterans Administration. Reservists and members of the National Guard may also be eligible for monthly educational benefits.

Cape Cod Community College is an approved institution for veterans and veterans' beneficiaries training.

Military and Veterans Services Advisor

Visit Bill Hunt, the Military and Veterans Services Advisor, to inquire about VA benefits and information. Bill is located in the Office of Veterans Services, on the second floor of the Wilkins Library, Room 201.

He can offer the following assistance to veterans:

  • Help with applying for Chapter 30, Chapter 33/ Post 9/11, Chapter 1606, Chapter 1607, and Chapter 35. Once students apply and get their Certificate of Eligibility, the hours will be submitted to the VA for payment processing.
  • Assist with kickers, which are paid to National Guard/Reserves.
  • Evaluate military credit for college credit
