Academic Transcript Requests
Keeping in mind the increased risk of inclement weather and storms at this time of year, please plan any requests for academic transcripts accordingly.
The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 prohibits disclosure of information from a students' academic transcript to third parties without written consent of the student.
Current or former students can request an official copy of their academic transcript embossed with the College seal from the Office of the Registrar. In order for the College to release a copy of your academic record, requests must be submitted in writing with a valid signature by mail, fax or in person.
(Current or former students seeking GED or HiSETT transcript or record, please follow the link, http://www.capecod.edu/web/academics/equivalency, for information.)
For security and legal purposes, a legal document, such as a marriage license, divorce decree, adoption papers, certificate of name change at naturalization, or other court order indicating change of name, must be presented with the Directory Information Change Request if you wish to have your current name on your academic record. Otherwise your record will be sent with the name under which you attended or graduated.
As of September 1, 2014, there is a fee required for the processing of any transcript. Records to be delivered outside of the USA may incur additional costs or fees. Payments may be made via check, money order, cash or credit card (MC, Visa and Discover only) to the Business Office in person, by credit card via fax, and by credit card, check or money order via mail. All transcript fees, and any express shipping fees, must be paid for at the time of request. We will not mail transcripts and then bill you nor can transcript fees be charged to your student account.
Transcripts will not be processed if there are any unmet obligations or "HOLDS" on your account, including: financial, library, media or immunization. Advising holds do not prevent transcript requests from being processed.
Note: Requests for Academic Records prior to 1993 may require up to 7 business days to research and validate and would not be available for Immediate or Overnight processing.
Requests must legibly include the following:
Indicate when you would like your transcript released:
Indicate where you would like your transcript(s) mailed including:
Mail a completed Transcript Request Form with credit card payment information (MC, Visa and Discover only), check or money order (please do not send cash) and number of records requested to:
Cape Cod Community College
The processing and delivery of academic transcript requests may be delayed due to inclement weather conditions, holiday closures, or end of semester volume. Please plan accordingly.
