Online Learning Courses

CCCC Office of Online and Learning Technologies supports three types of online courses.

  • Hybrid – Course uses both classroom and online instructional modes and meets face-to-face on a regular schedule.
  • Local Online – 100% of the course instruction is delivered online. Scheduled face-to-face meetings are required: e.g. proctored examinations.
  • Fully Online – 100% of the course instruction is delivered online. Students enrolled may access course content on a flexible schedule and do not need to be on campus for any portion of course work or examinations.

Students complete their course work by computer off campus at any time or on campus during college hours in open computer labs. CCCC uses the Moodle Course Management System.

The Office of Online & Learning Technologies offers support to students and faculty through scheduling proctored exams, Moodle student help (Moodlestudenthelp@capecod.edu) and Moodle faculty help (Moodlefacultyhelp@capecod.edu). For more information or to schedule a testing appointment contact the Online & Learning Technologies office located in the Teaching and Learning Center in the Lorusso Applied Technology Building, Room 215A at (508) 375-4040. The office is open Monday-Friday from 8:30-4:30 p.m. Evening hours are available by appointment.
