It is a pleasure to welcome you to the College. This is truly at a very special time. We've opened the brand new, state-of-the-art teaching and learning environment, the Lyndon P. Lorusso Applied Technology building, and expanded our Environmental Technology program with the renewable energy-based courses, and more are on the way.
The new Cotton Center for Real Estate Studies already is raising the level of knowledge and professionalism within this key economic arena. The Linda and William Zammer Institute for Hospitality and Culinary Studies is your pathway to career opportunities worldwide, and is a powerful resource for the region's leisure/tourism industry. We are moving forward aggressively with plans to add a wind-turbine to the campus, and we're exploring constructing student housing.
While we are very excited by our new facilities and new and expanded programs, we know that they are but one part of a far greater picture made complete by the outstanding faculty and staff who are deeply committed to your personal success.
If your goal is to get the most out of your college experience, by starting here, you can take your life anywhere; and we're here to help you do just that.
With my personal best wishes for your success,
Kathleen Schatzberg President |
