 The accomplishments of this project are as follows:    

  1. We developed a career path with articulated environmental courses at the secondary level.
  2. We developed a mentor/ mentee program that paired the college and high school students to receive the field experience recommended by all employers.
  3. We offered a Summer 2000 Institute and follow up workshops that provided other secondary teachers in southeastern Massachusetts with the opportunity to receive the mentor/mentee training and curricula for duplication in their high schools.
