Nontraditional by Gender Career Information

Nontraditional careers are occupations where either women or men comprise less than 25% of the individuals employed in each such occupation.

Cape Cod Community College promotes career choices based on interests and abilities, free from gender stereotypes or limiting expectations. Our aim is to foster equitable opportunities, striving to ensure that all students meet general learning goals for cultural appreciation, communication and computational skills emphasizing the importance of mastering skills in mathematics, science and technology.

Cape Cod Community College embraces diversity in all aspects that define us as human beings, including race, ethnicity, language, disabilities and income, as well as gender.
