
Professional Day's Keynote Speaker: Peggy L. Maki, Ph.D.
Dr Peggy L. Maki is the recipient of the National Lindback Award for Distinguished Teaching. She was Chair of English, Theatre Arts, and Communication, Associate Professor of English, and Dean of Continuing Education at Arcadia University, PA. She served as Professor of English, Dean of Faculty, Academic Dean, and Vice President, at Bradford College, MA. She has served as Associate Director of the Commission on Institutions of Higher Education for the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, Inc., our very own regional accrediting body (NEASC).
She specializes in helping institutions integrate assessment of student learning throughout their academic course work, extra-curricular, and co-curricular activities.
