• Assist you with choosing/changing major
• Monitor your academic progress
• Monitor your progress towards graduation
• Help you with college adjustment issues
• Help you plan your academic schedule
• Recommend campus resources
• Aid with career development/exploration
• Help you plan ahead

What Are Your Responsibilities?

• Know WHO your advisor is, and their contact information
• Come prepared to your advising session
• Be on time and ask questions
• Bring all necessary paperwork
• Be familiar with the requirements of your major
