Admissions Requirements

Admissions to Cape Cod Community College is based upon the "open door" philosophy required by the Massachusetts Department of Higher Education. Each student is admitted on a first-come basis, provided that:

  1. The applicant is eligible
  2. The applicant completed the application procedures
  3. There is a vacancy in the program for which one applies
  4. Provide the College with proof of high school graduation or the equivalent. Acceptable forms of proof include:
    1. An official high school transcript indicating date of graduation from an approved secondary school (photocopies, copies issued to students, and transcripts that do not bear the stamp or signature of a school official are not valid).
    2. An official state-issued high school equivalency diploma (GED).
    3. Notarized copies of overseas high school transcripts or diplomas, accompanied by certified English translations and evaluations.
    4. An original, signed letter from the high school guidance office stating that an early graduate has completed all high school graduation requirements but will not receive their diploma until the upcoming ceremony.

This admissions policy does not apply to the Dental Hygiene, Massage Therapy, Medical Assisting, Diagnostic Technician, Paramedic or Nursing programs, nor does it apply to international applicants.

Tri-Level Nurse Aide/Home Health Aide program applicants contact Rosemary Dillon at (508) 362-2131 x4452 to learn more about applying.
