Mikel E. Satcher, Ph.D.

Director of Equal Opportunity and Institutional Development

In this Cabinet level position, Dr. Satcher serves as Affirmative Action/Title IX Officer and brings an even stronger focus to the College’s mission of diversity, outreach and engagement within the underserved populations of its region. Dr. Satcher brings nearly 25 years of experience as an administrator, lecturer, and coordinator of diversity programming and cultural diversity education to the position, and will coordinate the many on-campus events that celebrate Cape Cod’s diverse cultures.

Dr. Satcher holds a BA from Cornell University; two Master's degrees, one a Divinity degree, the other in Theology; and a Ph.D. from Boston University. He has taught at several Massachusetts colleges and universities, including Roxbury Community College, where he was involved in strategic planning as well.
