ACT - Accelerated Career Training

The new ACT Program offers a way to earn valuable certificates in Health Care and Business in half the usual time. Designed for convenience, special short-term courses have been combined to form a pathway for students who need the added flexibility that condensed courses and fast certification provides. Participants enroll in CCCC and attend specially targeted accelerated terms for college credits. Financial Aid is available for qualified individuals.

ACT collaborates with the local Career Opportunities Center to assist adults who are unemployed or underemployed looking for re-training, or updating their professional skills. Four new Certificates include college level credits which may also be applied towards a future degree. The current program offers the following areas of study:

Upon completion of a certificate program, students may continue their academic study or seek employment in their particular career area. Career and job search assistance is an essential part of this program. The ACT program coordinates with the Career Opportunities Center, Career Services at CCCC, employer partners and industry associations for input and collaboration.
