Cape Cod Literacy Council

The Cape Cod Literacy Council trains volunteers to help adults achieve their potential in areas such as English language skills, HiSET (High School Equivalency Test) certificate preparation, and workplace skill development. Once trained, the volunteer meets with students one-to-one within our community, within one of our reading programs, or as an assistant in a Cape Cod Community College/ ACCCESS HiSET, ABE, or ESOL classroom.

Since the Literacy Council was founded in 1987, hundreds of volunteers and students have met with success. Whether you are a student in need of services or a volunteer ready to help create opportunity, the Cape Cod Literacy Council is here for you.
