Cape Cod Literacy Council
The Cape Cod Literacy Council coordinates and provides resources to educate non-literate and marginally literate adults. They train volunteer tutors to teach and match students to volunteer tutors: The Literacy Council also provides special literacy services to businesses and agencies.
The Cape Cod Literacy Council was founded in 1987. It has trained over 600 volunteers to teach reading and English language skills to adults. Tutor sessions are held in local libraries, church halls, public schools and community centers. From Bourne to Provincetown, our Literacy Volunteers can be available to tutor individuals or groups.
