Appendix E - Insurance Coverage

 

STATE INSTITUTIONAL SELF-INSURANCE

The Commonwealth of Massachusetts is self-insured. Cape Cod Community College is a public institution of higher education created by an act of the Massachusetts State Legislature and, as such, is self-insured.

 

ADDITIONAL INSURANCE COVERAGE

The College does carry insurance, however, for several purposes beyond the self-insurance umbrella.
